Privacy Policy

This policy sets out what personal data we collect, why we hold it, who processes it on our behalf, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

Intereras is the trading brand of Interera Exhibition & Advertisement Co., Ltd, a company registered in Macau. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean that company, which is the data user responsible for the personal data described below.

This policy covers intereras.com, including the account area and the AI assistant. Questions about it, and any request to exercise the rights set out below, should go to privacy@intereras.com.

What we collect

What you give us. When you send an enquiry through the contact form we record your name, email address, the topic you chose and your message, together with your company and phone number where you provide them. When you subscribe to updates we record your email address. When you register an account we record your name, email address and, if you supply it, your company. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are stored only as a hash — we never see or hold the password itself.

What your use of the site generates. An enquiry is stored alongside the page it was sent from, the language you were reading in, any campaign parameters in the link you followed, and the country the request came from. We derive that country from the network request and do not store your IP address itself.

What your account records. If you use the AI assistant we store the questions you ask, the answers returned, and a count of the questions used against your allowance. Our staff can read those conversations, in order to support you and to detect abuse.

Signing in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address, your name and your profile picture, and nothing else. We request only the basic profile and email permissions.

We do not read, send or store your Gmail, your Drive files, your Calendar or your contacts, and we never ask for permission to do so. You can withdraw our access at any time from your Google Account’s security settings; your Intereras account and its contents remain until you ask us to delete them.

Why we hold it

To answer you. An enquiry is written to our database before the notification email is sent, so that a delivery failure is a missing notification rather than a lost enquiry.

To run your account — signing you in, showing what your tier opens, and keeping count of the assistant allowance attached to it.

To send you what you asked for. That means transactional email such as sign-in links and password resets, and the newsletter if you subscribed to it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time; sign-in email cannot be switched off while the account exists, because it is how the account is reached.

To keep the site working and to stop abuse — rate limits, the human check on our forms, and aggregate measurements of traffic and page speed.

The AI assistant

Questions you put to the assistant are sent to third-party AI model providers to be answered. They process the text of your question in order to produce a reply; we do not authorise anyone to use it to train models, and we do not make it public. We do use these conversations ourselves, to improve the quality and accuracy of the assistant’s answers.

Ask it about trade and about our services. Do not paste passwords, identity-document numbers, or anything you are under an obligation to keep confidential: a question you send is stored as part of your conversation history and can be read by our staff.

Who processes data for us

Supabase — the database and authentication service holding accounts, enquiries and conversation history.

Vercel — hosting, and the traffic and performance measurement described below.

Resend — delivery of transactional email and of the newsletter.

Cloudflare — the human check that protects our forms from automated abuse.

Google — the optional sign-in described above.

These providers act on our instructions. Some process data outside Macau, which follows from using established infrastructure rather than from any decision about your data in particular. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies and measurement

Signing in sets a cookie holding your session. It is what keeps you signed in from one page to the next, and accounts cannot work without it.

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to see which pages are read and how quickly they load. Both are aggregate: neither sets a tracking cookie nor builds a profile of you. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels or cross-site trackers.

The human check on our forms is Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set a cookie of its own for the duration of that check.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as the commercial conversation they belong to may reasonably continue, and are archived once it has not.

Account data, including conversation history, is kept while the account exists. Ask us to delete the account and we delete it, along with the profile and the conversations attached to it. An enquiry you sent before the account existed survives that deletion, because it is a record of a conversation with us rather than part of the account — ask, and we will delete that too.

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. We answer access, correction and deletion requests within 40 days of receiving them.

Write to privacy@intereras.com. We may ask you to confirm the request from the address the data is held under: handing someone’s data to whoever asks for it first is the failure that check exists to prevent.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when what we do changes, and the date above is the date of the last change. A change that materially affects account holders is sent to them by email rather than left here to be discovered.
